Geometries​

This exploration stepped outside of my regular interest in objects and material culture and examined how complex geometries can be developed through simple geometries. This is in part inspired by digital 3d models use of meshes to create structures and the tradition of drawing regular polygons with only a straightedge and compass connected with mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss. These works aim to acknowledge a form of my awe related to the perfect and consistent nature of applied mathematical principles.
